TEDxTogether: Holiday Edition Wrap-Up

Dear TEDx Together guests,

What an amazing night we had in downtown LA with great speakers, great TED talks, food, and guests!  We hope everyone walked away feeling engaged with the topics we presented last night whilst catching up with old friends and making new ones.

We invite you and encourage all attendees to submit photos and/or video of that night, as they will be posted here shortly on our official website for others to see.  Please submit all material to:

Janet@tedxtogether.com

w/ the subject header as "TEDx Photos/Video"

Again, thank you for making the event such a success.  The TEDxTogether team is working hard to make these events better and value your opinions and thoughts.  An Attendee Feedback Form will be sent to all shortly, so please don't hesitate to give us your 2 cents!

With the utmost gratitude and thanks, the TEDxTogether and Seso thanks you for making the night simply amazing.  With that said, happy holidays and we will see you in 2010!

Sincerely,

TEDxTogether

Next TEDxTogether - April 12

Learn to Play or Play to Learn?

Building on the conversation started at the initial TEDxTogether, we seek to explore play as a key driver between inspiration and action.

The focus of this month's speakers evolve around the area of learning, and the increasingly fading boundaries between learning and play - from experiential learning to video games.

Our speakers will share successes and challenges encountered in a variety of projects. From public after-school programs for learning through art, to video games as learning tools and initiatives to engage local communities in ongoing expert-led workshops.

Program

2:00 A Clean Slate with drinks and live music perfromance

2:30 Show and Tell
Three 5-minute talks followed by 10-minute Q&A's:

3:40 Share
brainstorming in small groups

4:00 Recess

Enjoy each other's ideas over eco-friendly cocktails provided by Veev and a special performance by Daedelus (daedelusmusic.com)
